SWET Research Scholarship

6th November 201611th April 2022 SWET

This annual award of £3,000 is for research in relation to developing and improving social work practice.

Applicants should complete the Scholarship application form and include a proposal of not more than 500 words, setting out the aims, estimated costs, time-scale and intended outcomes/benefits of the research project.

Trustee Meetings

The Trustees meet three times a year, usually in February, June and October.

  • Monday 23rd February 2026
    (Grant applications only)
  • Friday 12th June 2026
    (Grant and Scholarship applications)
  • Friday 23rd October 2026
    (Grant applications only)

Applications need to be with us a month before the Trustees meetings: the cut-off date for the next meeting is 11:59pm on Sunday 25th January 2026.
