Completing your application form for funding

The Trustees sometimes have to reject a number of applications due to people not completing the application form properly.

PLEASE read the Grant Application Guidance and Frequently Asked Questions before completing your application form.

  • Grants for courses that will have been completed or conferences/events that have taken place before a trustees’ meeting will NOT be considered.
  • We NEED to know your registration with SWE, NISCC, CCW or SSSC. This information is checked with the relevant registering body because we require applicants to be qualified and registered social workers, with at least two years post-qualifying experience in social work practice, working or intending to work in the UK.
  • We NEED to have additional information about any course/training/CPD. Details of the course/training should be included with the application form – usually a brief course description issued by the provider.
  • Where the total sum needed is higher than that requested from the Trust, an indication of your ability to meet the balance of the fees/costs from other sources, including employers, MUST be given.
